The Stormwater Operations Supervisor oversees daily operations and maintenance of stormwater infrastructure and levee systems, and serves as project manager from concept through completion. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, directing field crews, and maintaining records.

Reporting to the Street, Fleet, and Stormwater Superintendent, the role requires coordinating with the Stormwater Engineering group and other departments to ensure safe, efficient project execution and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years stormwater maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Class A CDL with air brakes (must obtain within 90 days).
• Pesticide/herbicide applicator license (must obtain within 90 days).
• OSHA 30 Safety Certification (must obtain within 12 months).
• Construction Stormwater Training Certification (must obtain within 12 months).
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Confined Space Certification.
• Work Zone Safety Certification.
• Trench Excavation Training.
• Flood Mitigation Training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily stormwater operations including levee and storm sewer maintenance, street sweeping, pond upkeep, snow operations, and safety training.
• Lead stormwater projects from planning to completion, coordinating with engineering, permits, and easements.
• Coordinate with public works and other departments to ensure project success and compliance with codes.
