City of Ocoee is seeking a seasoned Stormwater Maintenance Supervisor under the Public Works Director to supervise field crews, plan maintenance, and oversee stormwater infrastructure projects.

This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating with other departments, managing budgets, and ensuring safety compliance. A CDL B endorsement and relevant safety certifications are required or will be obtained within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 7+ years of streets maintenance and management experience.
• Two or more years in supervisory or lead worker capacity.
• Must possess Florida CDL B endorsement or obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Directs and supervises routine to semi-skilled construction and maintenance work; trains workers.
• Plans and schedules crew assignments and reviews daily maintenance work.
• Performs routine to moderately complex maintenance on stormwater systems and equipment.
• Participates in annual budgets, prepares weekly schedules and overtime for emergencies.
• Operates a wide variety of construction equipment and tools.
• Maintains operational records and ensures tools and materials are available.
• Coordinates with other departments, contractors and government representatives.
• Investigates problems, conducts studies and prepares reports with recommended actions.
• Coordinates work of equipment, trades, and laborers to complete tasks.
• Makes on-site determinations on equipment and personnel deployment for projects.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards, codes and engineering standards.
