Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Stormwater Maintenance Laborer to join our construction team. Under supervision of the Field Operations Supervisor, the Laborer performs tasks to clean stormwater structures and systems, including drywells, envibro systems, treatment systems, and stormwater inlets.

The role also supports the repairing of stormwater structures as needed. The job requires physical work outdoors, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle
• Ability to drive company pickup truck and trailer
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in varying weather
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow them
• Proven punctuality, reliability, and consistent work performance
• Able to ascend/descend ladders up to 30 feet

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all daily tasks are completed in a safe manner
• Removing trash, leaves, sediment, and debris from stormwater drainage systems
• Collaboration with team members to accomplish daily tasks
• Understanding and following Confined Space Entry protocols
• Performing daily vehicle inspections
• Assisting in daily work documentation
• Performing system repairs as necessary
• Other duties as needed
