Job summary

Apex is hiring a Landscape Foreman (Stormwater) to supervise and perform maintenance of stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties in Meridian, MS. The role includes leading a 2-4 person crew, safety leadership, and hands-on landscaping duties.

The position offers 40-55 hours per week, travel about 15 days per month, and a compensation range of $22–$24 per hour with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of manual labor experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally (approx. 15 days/month).
• Must be 21+ years of age due to DOT interstate transport rules.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and schedule landscaping, routine maintenance, and light repairs of stormwater infrastructure.
• Lead a crew of 2-4 crew members, enforce safety regulations.
• Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, and light construction on client properties.
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment and maintain the equipment trailer.
• Prepare reports and document work in the field using company systems.
• Travel from shop to client sites locally and regionally (typical 15 days).
