Job summary

Opterra Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Repair & Restoration Technician I to help keep stormwater systems functioning safely.

You will inspect, restore, and maintain facilities such as ponds, ditches, swales, and catch basins while performing daily safety documentation and communicating with customers. This on-site role requires travel 50–75% by vehicle, teamwork, and comfort with operating tractors, UTVs, and other equipment in varied outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel 50–75% by vehicle, including overnight travel.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate with customers.
• Comfortable using technology and mobile apps for tasks and reports.
• Outdoor work in varied environments with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and restore stormwater facilities such as ponds, ditches, swales, and basins.
• Operate tractors, UTVs, excavators, skid steers, and other equipment.
• Use handheld tools like chainsaws, trimmers, pole saws, and leaf blowers.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and adjustments on vehicles and equipment.
• Work safely in and around confined spaces and water.
