Job summary

Stevens Stormwater Maintenance is seeking a Stormwater Field Technician to join our team in Virginia. Under supervision, you will service stormwater management systems including bioretention, HDS, filters, detention, and ponds, and assist with repairs as needed.

Responsibilities include performing daily tasks safely, removing debris, following OSHA Confined Space protocols, and assisting with system repairs. The role requires physical stamina and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to perform manual labor and lift, push, or pull as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily tasks safely and efficiently.
• Remove trash, debris, and sediment from stormwater systems.

Stevens Stormwater Maintenance is seeking aStormwater Field Technician to join our team.Under supervision of the Operations Manager, or Team Lead, the Stormwater Field Technician performs a wide range of duties related to servicing stormwater management systems and structures including but not limited to Bioretention systems, HDS system, Filter systems, Detention systems, and stormwater ponds. This position also supports the repairing of stormwater management systems as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Performing all assigned daily tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Remove trash, debris, and sediment from stormwater management systems
• Understanding and following all OSHA Confined Space protocols
• Performing system repairs as needed
• Other duties as needed

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proven track record of punctuality, reliability, and consistent work performance
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle with a pull-behind trailer
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and standing or walking for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically throughout the day
