Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years of engineering experience; or an associate degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater management, Drain Code, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints, maps, and construction documents; proficient with GIS and document management tools.

Responsibilities

• Administers stormwater management and water quality protection systems.
• Reviews permit applications and drainage plans for developments.
• Secures consulting engineers for reviews and ensures compliance with standards.
• Prepares and negotiates drain easements and legal agreements.
• Serves as field engineer for inspections and permit compliance audits.
