Job summary

Consor is seeking a stormwater engineer to plan, design, permit, and manage stormwater infrastructure projects in Washington state, aligning with local regulations and agency requirements. You will lead hydrology and hydraulics analyses, collaborate with agencies, developers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure that safeguards people and the environment.

The role offers hybrid work between office and field, with potential exposure to varied weather and site

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil3D software.
• Hybrid office/field work environment; may expose to weather and site conditions.
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project engineers on storm drainage analysis and design for urban and rural transportation projects.
• Perform drainage analysis and design per project requirements and agency standards.
• Provide hydraulic analysis for cross-drainage structures and integrate results into roadway/bridge design.
• Design stormwater management systems, storm drain systems, open channels, culverts, bridges hydraulics, and floodplain compensation.
