The City of Wilmington, NC is seeking a Stormwater Crew Leader to guide and supervise a stormwater maintenance crew. You will plan work methods, oversee safety, and manage tasks such as equipment operation, traffic control, and maintenance of drainage systems.

Ideal candidates will have at least three years of heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. CDL must be obtained within 90 days.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of related heavy equipment experience.
• Must pass heavy machinery skills test.
• Driver's license required; Class B CDL within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Field supervision: supervise daily tasks and ensure safety and traffic control protocols.
• Direct infrastructure maintenance for storm drains, open channels, ditches, and ponds.
• Operate light, medium, and heavy machinery for installation and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain equipment, document project progress, and ensure environmental compliance.
• Coach workers, lead safety tailgates, and assist with hiring and performance reviews.
