Ideal candidates have at least a year of related experience, a valid driver’s license (Class B with upgrade potential), and the ability to perform manual labor and basic equipment maintenance in all weather conditions.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with vocational or technical training in the operation of CDL-operated vehicles.
• Minimum of one year of experience in construction, maintenance, grounds keeping or a related field.
• Experience operating the equipment listed for this class and ability to perform basic maintenance.

Aufgaben

• Operates backhoe to perform basic digging, trenching, and clearing for maintenance and construction projects.
• Mows rights‑of‑way and difficult terrain with boom mower; scouts path and removes obstacles.
• Maintains records and logs of work performed and completes basic equipment maintenance.
• Assists with storm preparation, traffic control, and other duties as assigned.
