Job summary

Loveland Public Works is seeking a Crew Supervisor for Storm Maintenance to plan, supervise, and deploy daily stormwater operations including asset cleaning, CCTV inspections, street sweeping, and snow response. You will manage full-time and seasonal staff and coordinate with other city divisions.

Qualifications include High School or better, 5 years heavy equipment experience, CDL with air brake endorsement, NASCCO certification or within 12 months, and Traffic Control Supervisor/flagging cert

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• 5 years operating heavy, construction, stormwater, drainage, road maintenance equipment or related field experience.
• Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with air brake endorsement.
• Must possess current NASCCO Pipeline Assessment Certification or obtain within 12 months of hire date
• Must possess current Traffic Control Supervisor and flagging certification, or obtain within 120 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, manage, supervise, and evaluate stormwater operations and maintenance programs, activities, and crews.
• Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs of stormwater infrastructure and street sweeping.
• Shift the Stormwater Maintenance crew's responsibilities to snow and ice control during winter weather events.
• Respond to emergencies such as flooding, adverse weather, and spills.
