Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Stormwater Construction Foreman (Heavy equipment/concrete) in St. Louis, MO. This full-time role offers 40-55 hours per week, with extensive regional travel and a compensation of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

You will lead stormwater infrastructure projects, operate heavy equipment, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure safety on every site. Per diem is provided for out-of-town travel, and a company vehicle is included.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of underground wet utility construction experience is required.
• Experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins is required.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (Skid Loader, Mini-Excavator, etc.)
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and staff.
• Ability to do frequent out-of-town regional travel (85% or more travel required)
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening. We are a drug-free workplace.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation.
• Able to perform manual labor, lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair critical stormwater infrastructure across central states.
• Operate heavy construction equipment including skid loaders, excavators, and dozers.
• Travel during the week to project sites across the country.
• Document field observations to aid in project success and drive continuous improvement.
• Uphold the highest safety standards on every project.
