Job summary

MacKay in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Civil Engineer with a stormwater focus to join our Infrastructure & Development team. This role supports drainage, stormwater management, and stream restoration on a growing project portfolio while traveling approximately 25% of the time. Requirements include a B.S.

in Civil Engineering with municipal stormwater emphasis, NM P.E. license or eligibility, 5–10 years of municipal stormwater design experience, and a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in municipal stormwater design.
• 5–10 years of municipal stormwater design, construction and operations.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• NM P.E. license required; P.E. in other SW states a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations, field work, and project management tasks.
• Lead field-oriented tasks on large projects and coordinate staff.
• Prepare project reports and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with clients and team to ensure budgets and schedules.
