Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Professional Engineer to lead civil engineering projects focused on drainage studies, site design, and infrastructure. You will design stormwater systems, prepare reports, and contribute to business development while ensuring project delivery.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) with 4+ years in hydrology/hydraulics; NM PE license or eligibility within a year is preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering required.
• MS in water resources engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years in hydrology, hydraulics, roadway drainage, flood-control.
• NM PE license or eligibility with 1 year to licensure.
• Experience with StormCAD, CivilStorm, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS2D, HEC-HMS, FLO2D.
• ArcGIS a plus; AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support drainage studies, site design, and infrastructure projects.
• Design stormwater systems, basins, and open channels to meet water quality/quantity requirements.
• Prepare site drainage reports, design concept reports, and drainage master plans.
• Manage budgets and schedules to deliver project scope on time and within budget.
