Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Group Manager for Stormwater/CIP to lead and grow the Water Resources team.

You will supervise staffing, manage client relations, and drive business development for municipal projects including stormwater studies, CIP, FEMA-related work, and related design efforts. You will oversee project delivery, budgets, and QA/QC, mentor staff, and present to boards and public officials.

Qualifications

• BSCE or related engineering degree required.
• Florida PE registration required.
• 10+ years in professional engineering design and project management.
• Strong background in Stormwater and CIP.
• Excellent financial management skills.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary environments with multiple clients.
• Knowledge of local codes and public agency standards for Stormwater/CIP.
• Strong business development skills and ability to engage boards and councils.

Responsibilities

• Establish, lead and grow the Water Resources team in the Tampa office.
• Partner with clients on planning studies and modeling approaches for municipal water resources projects.
• Prepare and review statements of qualifications.
• Oversee design development, contract documents, cost estimates, and client relations.
• Mentor staff and manage project priorities and budgets.
• Present to public officials, selection committees, and professional groups.
