Qualifications

• 5+ years in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew, equipment, and supplies to complete jobs efficiently and profitably.
• Enforce safety practices and rules across the crew.
• Keep utility company representatives informed of crew status and equipment.
• Dispatch crews promptly to job sites.
• Educate crew on safety regulations and ensure 100% compliance.
• Instruct on operation of all equipment and safe material handling.
• Ensure first aid equipment is available at all times.
• Assist in accident investigations and reporting.
• Hire, train, and discipline employees.
• Approve and manage time submissions; minimize non-chargeable hours and overtime.
• Maintain morale and address grievances.
• Plan tasks based on location, season, crew availability, and equipment.
