XKIG is seeking a General Foreperson to coordinate crews and equipment on powerline projects in multiple locations. The role requires prior leadership experience around powerlines, travel willingness, and knowledge of ropes and knots. CDL or driver’s license preferred but not mandatory.

Strong supervisory and safety oversight are essential. You will supervise crew performance, manage time entries, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred; previous experience as a General Foreperson preferred
• Must be willing to travel
• Driver's License or CDL is preferred but not required

Responsabilités

• Coordinate crew members, equipment, and supplies to complete jobs efficiently and profitably
• Enforce safe practices and rules; ensure 100% compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain communication with utility company representatives about crews and equipment
• Manage timekeeping; approve hours and minimize non-chargeable overtime
• Hire, train, and discipline employees; manage morale and grievances
• Oversee operations, logistics, and maintenance for equipment and facilities
• Ensure proper operation and use of equipment; schedule maintenance to avoid breakdowns
• Conduct storm work duties as needed
