Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crews, equipment, and supplies to complete contracted vegetation management projects. You will direct crew members, plan daily work, and ensure safety and efficiency on site.

Travel may be required for storm restoration work; a valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks are essential. Union representation and comprehensive benefits are provided under the labor agreement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet and demonstrate qualifications of all positions on a crew.
• Must be able to follow verbal or written directives.
• Must be able to delegate work and take accountability for the performance of a crew.
• Must be able to understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Must be capable of adjusting to field requirements and taking independent action without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew, equipment, and supplies to complete contracts.
• Direct crew members and manage equipment daily.
• Assign tasks and supervise performance.
• Plan and execute work safely and professionally.

Education

High School diploma or education equivalent
