Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crew members, equipment, and supplies to complete all jobs according to contract specifications. This role requires prior experience as a Foreperson/Crew Leader and emphasizes safety, efficiency, and strong supervision on site.

The Foreperson will direct daily activities, assign tasks, plan work, supervise performance, and ensure PPE and safety practices are followed. Willingness to travel for storm work and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous foreperson or crew leader experience is required.
• Experience in utilities vegetation management or related field is preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and symbols representing lines and equipment.
• Must be able to follow verbal or written directives and delegate work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members, equipment, and supplies to complete jobs per contract specifications.
• Direct crew members and manage equipment each day to maintain schedules.
• Assign tasks, supervise performance, and ensure safety practices are followed.
• Plan and execute work safely and professionally while maintaining efficiency.
• Inspect the site, document time, and ensure PPE compliance and proper housekeeping.
• Notify property owners about work, obtain access permissions, and discuss site logistics.
• Drive company vehicle as needed and maintain daily truck inspections.
