Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Supply Chain Services Supervisor to manage the day-to-day storeroom operations, promote efficiency, and support patient care at the Chapel Hill location. The role includes overseeing staff, coordinating purchasing, and maintaining inventory accuracy to ensure optimal service levels.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe, compliant storage, training staff, and documenting all transactions in the purchasing system. Evening shift with onsite work offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher-level degree may satisfy this requirement.
• Three (3) years of experience in supply chain operations, including one (1) year of experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Lawson ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Issue and return materials from stock and conduct inventory control, including annual inventory and monthly updates.
• Maintain safe storeroom environment and ensure cleanliness.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate purchasing of stock/non-stock items with vendors, obtaining quotes and delivery times.
• Supervise storeroom operation and staff, ensuring training across all areas.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Document transactions into computerized purchasing and tracking software with proper QA.
