Job summary

The role ensures timely receiving, storage, issuing, and reporting of materials while maintaining compliance and security in a high-demand environment.

The supervisor will plan unit activities, supervise a small team, and partner with internal departments to optimize processes, accuracy, and turnaround times in a busy state facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehousing and material handling principles including purchasing.
• Interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to utilize computer software; supervisory ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan unit workflow and set priorities for smooth daily operations.
• Schedule, assign, oversee and review work to ensure tasks are completed.
• Establish and maintain unit procedures guiding consistent practices.
• Provide staff training and assist in performance evaluations.
• Liaise with internal units, agencies, and external partners on policies and procedures.
