Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Storeroom Supervisor to oversee daily inventory activities in the hospital storeroom. The role focuses on supervising staff, receiving and issuing materials, and maintaining accurate stock records to support patient care.

The position requires leadership experience, a commitment to FIFO and quality control, and availability for full-time or part-time shifts; location is Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates who order, receive, and put away inventory.
• Supervise associates who issue or ship materials.
• Ensure stocks and supplies are adequate and stored properly.
• Maintain FIFO to minimize waste.
• Plan storeroom layout considering turnover and weight.
• Communicate with management on non-usable or excess stock.
• Resolve discrepancies between inventory and records.
• Assist vendors with access to storeroom during unsecure times.
• Cover shifts for storeroom staff when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
