Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years business experience in Supply Chain, Distribution, Transmission or Generation positions. Minimum of three (3) years direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of the storerooms within the assigned Operating Company or Region.
• Recommend storeroom staffing and enhancements to the materials flow process to management.
• Recommend policies and procedures relating to proper control of all inventory investments and material services functions (SOX, cycle inventories, inactive material reviews, MSDS, QC).
• Responsible for materials management of M&S, Capital & oversite of plant Direct Charge (proper/safe storage, proper identification).
• Direct and coordinate Material Management functions between storerooms; liaise between Stores Supervisors, Accounting, Procurement, Engineering and Projects Departments.
• Develop, implement and/or assist with development of measurements/goals of storeroom operations; monitor results and take corrective action.
• Ensure storeroom operations comply with corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
• Establish effective communication channels with internal and external customers around catalog and Inventory Optimization.
• Support required staffing and materials for storm restoration, outage & project requirements.
• Coordinate training and development of assigned employees towards a participative, zero-harm culture.
• Development and administer safety programs to migrate to a zero-harm culture.
• Participate in development and administration of training programs to maximize technology usage.
• Foster an environment embracing diversity of thinking and participative management.
