Job summary

RS Integrated Supply in Oak Hill, NY is seeking an Inventory Specialist to perform on-site stock receiving, stocking, issuing and cycle counting, while delivering excellent client service. You will use ERP/software to track inventory, verify stock against packing slips and POs, and ensure accurate records in a fast-paced storeroom environment.

Required are a high school diploma, strong interpersonal and communication skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to follow SOPs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and phone skills are required.
• Basic computer proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented and well-organized; able to follow procedures.
• Ability to learn part identification and use of ERP/inventory systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all site Safety and Security Procedures; perform tasks safely and report hazards.
• Provide professional level customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and SOPs.
• Unpack received stock, verify against packing slips and POs; enter receiving data.
• Issue materials to client; pull, stage, and kit materials as required.
• Store received material in proper locations; tag, repack, and handle as needed.
• Process returns per SOP guidelines and prepare items for vendor return or repair.
• Perform cycle counts and report stock discrepancies to management.
• Maintain accurate inventory by count and location; manage barcodes and relocations in ERP.
• Verify on-hand quantities to determine reorder needs; keep storeroom clean and organized.
