Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. is seeking a Storeroom Crib Attendant to manage daily receiving, stocking, issuing and cycle counting of inventory at a customer site. You will maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure accurate stock records.

Responsibilities include unloading, labeling, and storing goods, issuing items to employees, and performing routine cycle counts with attention to safety and accuracy. Strong teamwork and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months relevant experience or training.
• Experience with loading/unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn; MS-Office and ERP software familiarity helps.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills; teamwork and reliability a must.
• Attention to detail and safety consciousness in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and stores incoming goods; checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels and places items on racks or bins to optimize crib space.
• Issues items to site employees and keeps accurate records of issued/returned goods.
• Maintains stock records in a computer system and responds to inventory inquiries.
• Performs cycle counting and prepares inventory reports.
• Delivers tools and equipment to work locations and helps locate lost items.
