Job summary

• Experience in purchasing/receiving and/or previous hotel experience preferred.
• Highly motivated self-starter focused on quality, organization, cleanliness, and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment while executing tasks and working as a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with management and co-workers.
• Ability to read requisitions and complete orders as requested.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills; input information accurately into computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue all food and beverage products in the storerooms under supervision.
• Inspect and unpack received merchandise and stock it.
• Keep storeroom organized by sorting as directed by the storeroom manager.
• Assist in FIFO rotation of groceries and canned goods.
• Adhere to storeroom hours and close procedures; monitor refrigeration and temperatures.
• Assist in end-of-month inventories and closing requisitions.
