Job summary

Omni Dallas Hotel seeks a detail-oriented stores/purchasing associate to support food, beverage, and storeroom operations. You will coordinate with AP to resolve discrepancies, manage orders, monitor stock, and maintain secure, organized storage areas for multiple departments in a fast-paced hotel setting.

The role requires strong English communication, teamwork, and a service mindset, with availability for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing/receiving and/or hotel experience preferred.
• Service-oriented with friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work cohesively with coworkers across departments.
• Motivated self-starter focused on quality, organization, cleanliness, and teamwork.
• Able to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment executing tasks as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, service-focused support to internal departments for food, beverage, and storerooms.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve PO and invoice discrepancies.
• Process departmental orders and clear items on the Open PO report.
• Monitor stock levels and report out-of-stock items.
• Identify and report obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
• Assist with month-end inventory counts and accuracy initiatives.
• Partner with Loss Prevention to secure loading dock and control deliveries.
• Receive, store, and distribute products to all departments per procedures.
• Inspect deliveries against POs, invoices, and packing slips for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain storerooms, storage areas, and access controls.
• Ensure storerooms are secured at end of day.
• Verify incoming goods meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Follow all SOPs, safety standards, and local health regulations.
• Provide courteous, service-oriented interactions with guests and team members.
