Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. is seeking a Storeroom Coordinator to manage store materials for Maintenance and other departments.

You will determine inventory levels, requisition materials, and control storage and issuance of materials to support daily plant operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of inventory management experience in an industrial setting, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of inventory management experience in an industrial setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work under limited supervision and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are available for maintenance and other users when needed.
• Coordinate inventory levels with purchasing and accounting for min/max quantities.
• Set up and maintain an adequate tool control system.
• Maintain an adequate supply of tools for the maintenance function.
• Update and maintain the Maximo inventory database.
• Expedite material requisitions to support timely deliveries.
• Receive materials and prepare them for work orders listed on the daily schedules.
