Job summary

PTC seeks a Storeroom Attendant in Liberty, TX to manage material and supplies for plant operations. You will receive merchandise, unpack, verify against packing lists, and place items where needed while updating inventory records.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 3+ years related experience), MS Office proficiency, and forklift experience preferred. Join a team focused on reliable materials flow and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and experience with MRP system.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
• Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
• Check items received against packing list, unloading reports, invoices, etc.
• Receive storeroom items into computer system.
• Fills requisitions and issues parts and supplies from stock.
• Reviews MRP status and enters requisition in computer system.
• Develops and maintains professional relationship with suppliers.
• Expediting as required.
• Interfaces with Operations personnel to ensure service is meeting expectations.
• Participates in periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.
• Maintains inventory and other stock records.
