Job summary

Excel Group in United States, Texas, Freeport is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, inspect, and process materials for production. You will maintain accurate records and help maintain a safe, organized storeroom.

This role requires 1-2 years of warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; forklift experience is a plus. Rotating shifts and varying temperatures are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience required.
• Inventory, data entry and computer skills required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Regularly lift 10–50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Stand, stoop, kneel or crouch for extended periods.
• Work rotating shifts and in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
• Verify quantities received against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Label and store items in designated storerooms.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or logs.
• Process requisitions and distribute materials to production or maintenance.
• Conduct cycle counts and periodic inventories to reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies for hazardous materials.
• Assist in maintaining storeroom cleanliness and organization.
