Job summary

Total Talent Solutions in Kalamazoo, MI is hiring a Storeroom Attendant for a Monday–Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM shift. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $18.50 per hour, with growth opportunities in a professional work environment.

The role includes collecting bins, scanning parts, stocking and labeling inventory, delivering supplies, and supporting cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. High school diploma preferred; basic computer and math skills required.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of warehouse, inventory, stocking, or material handling experience and/or training.
• Basic computer and scanner skills.
• Ability to read work orders, safety instructions, and procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect empty parts bins from production lines and return filled bins containing rivets, screws, bolts, and other supplies.
• Use a scanner to issue and track parts.
• Receive, stock, organize, label, and put away inventory.
• Deliver parts, tools, and supplies to work areas throughout the facility.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized storeroom/crib.
• Help locate misplaced equipment and supplies as needed.

Job Duties

Education Requirements

• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ months of relevant warehouse, inventory, stocking, or material handling experience and/or training
• Basic computer and scanner skills
• Ability to read work orders, safety instructions, and procedures
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills

Physical Capabilities

• Walk and stand extensively throughout the shift
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Regularly bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach
• Work in a non-temperature-controlled facility with heat in winter but no air conditioning in summer
• Steel-toe shoes are required
• Long hair must be tied back
• Dress code requires long pants and a T-shirt or polo; no sweatpants or drawstrings
