Job summary

Staffmark Group in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Storeroom Attendant for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). You will receive, store, and distribute inventory, use inventory systems, and help keep a safe, organized warehouse.

The role requires at least 3 months in warehouse-related work, strong attention to detail, and good communication. High school diploma preferred; overtime/evenings/weekends may be needed. Competitive weekly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, shipping/receiving, or storeroom desired (3+ months).
• Able to read work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Accurately pick, pack, sort, label, and organize inventory within the storeroom and warehouse.
• Issue tools, materials, and equipment to employees while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Enter inventory transactions into computerized inventory management systems.
• Monitor stock levels and submit replenishment requests as needed.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Inspect tools and equipment for damage, wear, and safety concerns.
• Deliver materials and equipment to work locations throughout the facility.
• Assist in locating lost or misplaced inventory and equipment.
• Support a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Flexible schedule availability, including overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 lbs. independently, and heavier items with assistance.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
