Job description

The Role
Ventia is currently looking to engage a Storeperson on our Defence Base Services Contract. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position will see you ensure that the Warehouse operates smoothly. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain process and handling customer orders and interactions. You will also take inventory of the warehouse stock and assist with furniture removal/relocation.

Whilst this position is primarily based at Leeuwin Barracks, East Fremantle, you may be required to travel to other Defence Bases across the Perth Metro area.

This position is a full-time permanent role, working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 04:00pm.

The pay rate for this position is $26.75 per hour.

To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.

Key duties include:

• Manage and process all goods in and goods out from receipting through to despatch and ensure the accuracy of the processing of paperwork.
• Receipting inbound goods, unloading trucks & containers, checking goods & stock allocation.
• Undertake stock takes as required.
• Purchase order requesting, data entry and monthly reporting through our operating system.
• Managing incoming/outgoing calls & communication with customers & clients.
• Assist with the relocation and removal of furniture within the barracks and other sites.
• Respond to afterhours call outs as required.

Requirements:

• Current Driver’s Licence – MR Class highly regarded.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite.
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a small team.
