Position Overview

The Storekeeper I will prepare equipment for surplus, coordinate disposal or transfer, manage vehicle scheduling and dispatch, issue keys, explain procedures, and communicate with staff regarding motor pool operations.

Essential Functions

• Maintain inventory and stock supplies.
• Schedule, assign, and check vehicles in and out.
• Operate a computer to maintain inventories.
• Greet visitors and staff at the motor pool.
• Serve as backup Mail Route / Room Attendant as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year experience in stores and records management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of storeroom and inventory experience.
• Two years of physical labor experience.
• Experience with vehicle duties and cleaning.
• Experience operating office equipment.

Conditions of Employment

• Background check and criminal history disclosure.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel locally.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
