Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe is hiring an Entry level storefront associate in Houston for full- or part-time shifts. Expect a $14.00 hourly rate, high school education, and weekend availability. You will deliver friendly service, help customers choose products, and operate the POS while supporting bread and beverage presentations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, growth, and adherence to health and safety standards, with cross-training across cashier, bar, bread, and cake areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Weekend and holiday availability is strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe Food Handler Certification (where required).

Responsibilities

• Delivering friendly, fast, and memorable customer service.
• Greeting guests and assisting with product selection.

• Cross-training in multiple areas, including: Cashier (POS), Bar, Bread, Cake.
