Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe in Richardson, TX is hiring a Storefront Associate to deliver friendly service, assist customers with product choices, and operate the POS system.

The role includes coffee and beverage prep, bread merchandising, and maintaining a clean, food-safe environment while collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications include high school diploma, customer service experience, teamwork, and willingness to work 20+ hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Weekend and holiday availability is strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification (where required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, fast, and memorable customer service.
• Greeting guests and assisting with product selection.
• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
• Preparing coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
• Assisting with bread merchandising and product presentation.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
• Working collaboratively with your teammates and store leadership.
• Following all company policies and Health Department regulations.
• Cross-training in multiple areas, including: Cashier (POS), Bar, Bread, Cake.
• Arriving on time and ready to work each scheduled shift.
• Having fun while delivering an exceptional guest experience!
