Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store position in Rochester, MN. The role focuses on helping customers, processing transactions, and supporting store operations including BOPIS/SFS and frame shop activities.

The position requires friendly service, adherence to SOPs, and willingness to participate in various tasks such as truck unload, stocking, and merchandising to keep the store well stocked and welcoming for customers.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to operate cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Capable of stocking, re-merchandising, and assisting framing department if trained.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and private label cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including go-back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully and be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
