They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly customer service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experiences:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, including bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency in basic math and applying instructions.
• Operate POS equipment and coach others (Cashier only).
• Write routine reports and maintain inventory software (Cashier only).
• Passionate about outdoor hobbies and skills (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Meet legal requirements for selling firearms and obtaining FOID cards (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Use basic tools and equipment.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision to perform duties.
• Adherence to work hours and policies.
• Ability to walk, reach, talk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull.
• Lift up to 10 pounds constantly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and use repetitive motions regularly.
• Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
