Job summary

Lids Sports Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in the San Francisco area. This role leads store operations, customer experience, and team development to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets.

The position reports to Store Manager, drives sales through effective training, scheduling, and adherence to company policies, while maintaining visual standards and store integrity.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-ups.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings as needed.
• Create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives and store success.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, inventory safety, and cash handling procedures.
• Prepare store for inventory audits and support counts.
