Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks a Team Leader to support Store leadership, coach Team Members, and own key sales-floor areas. The role emphasizes delivering Legendary Service and owning Power Panels, Clipstrips, Endcaps, and Clothing recovery, plus BOPIS/OMNI support as needed.

You will lead shifts, train teammates, and ensure safe, productive store operations in alignment with the updated operating model and company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, you must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Uphold and promote a safe and productive work environment by following and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviours through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution.
• Use A+ Coaching routines to develop Team Members, improve selling behaviours, and reinforce consistent operating standards.
• Deliver Legendary Service and model selling behaviours as one of the top selling Team Members in the store.
• Use A+ Coaching to train, coach, and follow up with Team Members during assigned shifts.
• Own Power Panel execution, maintenance, replenishment, signing, and recovery.
• Own Clipstrip execution, maintenance, replenishment, signing, and recovery.
• Own Endcap execution, maintenance, signing, and recovery.
• Own full weekly Clothing Department recovery, including assigned standards and follow up.
• Support BOPIS/OMNI execution, including picking, staging, Customer handoff, and follow up as assigned.
• Lead assigned Team Members during shifts, including task delegation, follow up, service expectations, and safe work practices.
• Support front-end, sales-floor, recovery, and Customer engagement routines as assigned by the Store Manager or Sales Manager.
• In under $9M stores, report through and receive direction from the Store Manager for assigned area ownership.
• In over $9M stores, report through and receive direction from the Sales Manager for assigned area ownership.
• Support Store recovery while recognising Power Panels, Clipstrips, Endcaps, and Clothing are owned and maintained through Team Leader area ownership rather than the general Recovery SOP.
• Operate cash register/computer, forklift, and other equipment as needed; assist customers with loading purchases.
• Complete all documentation associated with the above job duties accurately and timely.
• Obtain license or certifications as needed by the business.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
