Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a store supervisor to oversee daily operations, greet donors, coach team members, and ensure safety and policy compliance during your shift.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of retail experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong English communication are required; bilingual skills are a plus. You may transfer between locations as needed for business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of experience in retail.
• Associates Degree or completion of related retail management coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English communication; bilingual a plus.
• Must be certified and licensed to operate a forklift.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to ensure operational standards are met.
• Open and/or close the store as key holder or team leader on duty.
• Develop, train, coach and support team members for career growth.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety and security policies.
• Greet and assist donors/customers and maintain customer service standards.
• Assist and resolve complaints, report to management.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping to standards.
• Maintain company records and reports accurately and timely.
• Attend meetings and training as required by the agency.
• Transfer to other Goodwill of North Georgia stores as needed.
