Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Leader to help the Store Manager execute operational, sales, and merchandising objectives while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. You will promote safety, train Team Members, and ensure high standards for customers and vendors.

Ideal candidates have retail or related experience, supervisory skills, and a valid driver’s license. Education of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, you must be able to read, write, and count accurately.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
• Ability to perform and execute principle responsibilities of Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with execution of operational, sales, and merchandising objectives to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment for Team Members, customers, and vendors.
• Train Team Members on policies and procedures.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and basic merchandising activities.
• Resolve customer complaints to ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
