Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to assist Store leadership in executing operational, sales, and merchandising goals while delivering outstanding customer service. The role promotes a safe work environment and involves training Team Members on store policies and procedures.

The position requires availability for varied shifts, 18+ with a valid driver’s license, and preferred experience in retail and live animals. Candidates should be able to read, write and count accurately.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Uphold and promote a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Support selling initiatives (TEAM): Thank the customer, engage with the customer, advise products, make it memorable.
• Execute merchandising activities and plan-o-grams.
• Open/close procedures and banking deposits.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Train Team Members on policies and procedures.
