Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development in Green Bay. You will supervise associates, assist with payroll and scheduling, and help ensure safety, cleanliness, and inventory integrity.

You will lead by example in delivering a positive shopping experience while upholding company policies and standards, with responsibilities across merchandising and frontline leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow policies.
• Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store including restrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
