Job summary

ALDI Brand is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Watertown, SD to support store operations, drive sales, control expenses, and maintain high customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will lead, mentor and develop staff, implement action plans, and ensure adherence to ALDI policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 18 years old.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with the store manager, as needed.
• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to store personnel in conjunction with the store manager to ensure desired results; leads and develops store personnel.
• Assists the store manager with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results and personnel development.
• Leads store tours during interview events and provides hiring recommendations to the store manager.
• Informs the store manager of team developments and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
