Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Adhere to directives and corporate communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Maintain organized stockroom and stocking of the sales floor.
• Protect store assets including cash.
• Ensure policies and safety guidelines are followed.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Keep the store clean and stocked, including bathrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
