Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Humble, TX to support store operations, customer service and team development, ensuring standards are consistently met. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, transfer stock from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, and help maintain seasonal areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and transfer stock from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and internal communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; ensure store signage is current.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom; protect store assets.
