Job summary

Family Dollar in South Congaree, SC, is seeking a Third Keyholder to support daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will assist customers, handle transactions, manage inventory, and help with opening/closing duties when leadership is unavailable.

The role emphasizes teamwork, maintaining store standards, and upholding company policies while contributing to a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise and complete sales using the POS system.
• Support store operations, inventory levels, deliveries, replenishment and store cleanliness.
• Open or close the store in absence of store leadership and oversee store conditions.
• Guide team members on operating practices and procedures per Store Manager direction.
• Encourage add-ons to increase average basket size through suggestive selling.
• Maintain positive image with customers and the community.
• Unloading merchandise, stocking shelves and moving stock from stockroom to floor.
• Support asset protection through presence and customer service.
• Document cash deposits, receipts, and maintain records during shifts.
• Complete all Position Based Training timely and follow company policies.
