Job summary

ALDI USA in Mobile, AL seeks a lead store associate to open and close the store in the absence of store management. You will guide associates, stockers and cashiers through opening and closing duties, maintaining standards and ensuring an excellent customer shopping experience.

This is a full-time role with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $20.00 per hour, with raises in Year 2–5. Benefits are provided for full-time employees, enhancing long-term value.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns.
• Communicate responsibilities to staff in the absence of management.
• Lead and supervise the team to achieve sales and high performance.
• Open and close the store in the absence of management.
• Stock shelves and operate the POS system and process purchases.
