Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Lead Store Associate to independently open and close the store in the absence of management. This keyholder role guides associates, stockers, and cashiers through opening and closing duties, upholds store standards, and ensures an excellent customer shopping experience.

The position offers a full-time schedule with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $19.50 per hour, with wage increases planned in subsequent years.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience with management exposure preferred.
• Ability to lead and communicate effectively with store staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing duties in absence of store management.
• Guide associates, stockers, and cashiers to ensure duties are performed correctly.
• Implement action plans to improve operating results and staff development.
• Communicate expectations and performance to store personnel.
• Ensure POS accuracy and handle curbside/order pickup processes.
• Maintain store standards, loss prevention, and cash handling policies.
• Foster teamwork and a positive, compliant work environment.
• Stock shelves and follow planograms to maximize sales.
